for those desiring the skills & the experiencea of a true coastal sea touring kayak at
group discount of $45 per person. |

dress for the weather.
Much of the clothing used in kayaking can be drawn from other sports.
Review navigational aides, weather & tide conditions, etc.

| How to fit a Kayak & Terminology: |

We take great
care to fit each quest to their kayak from our extensive fleet of kayaks providing comfort
& performance for all paddling interest & ability. |
| Basic Paddle Strokes: |
|
Forward Stroke,
Reverse Stroke, Turning Strokes ( forward & reverse sweep) |
|
Advanced Strokes
are demonstrated: High Brace, Low Brace, Draw Stroke |
| How to use Rudder or Skeg: |
|
Paddling with the aid of a rudder is useful when wind &
tides dictate & if preferred, instruction
in kayak with skeg can be arranged. |

Coastal Sea Touring Kayak equipped with rudder or skeg sized for each guest, quality
lifejacket (PFD) fitted for kayaking, quality fiberglass shaft paddle
for comfort & fit.
All courses are given with experienced professional ACA (American Canoe Asso.) certified
instructors.
