New Jersey Kayak is located in the
Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife Refuge. Several routes can be enjoyed separately or in combination.

The refuge offers miles of creeks and tidal pools with beaches along the outside to stretch the legs.
A wealth of natural wonders as bird watching await your adventure.
The paddler will experience true sea kayak touring with open water crossings and fun exploration of the surrounding National Wildlife Refuge.

Rentals of single & tandem Coastal Sea Kayaks
are available for your self guided adventure.
If guided tours are desired or warranted, NJ Kayak's professional staff will instruct & guide you through the Wildlife Refuge assuring a safe memorable & instructive experience.

The E.B.F.N.W.R. is in the Northeast's major flyway for birds and 198 species can be seen depending on the time of year. The area above can be self explored guided (recommended) in a 1 1/2 to 2 1/2 hour time frame.
For the family with young children or for those seeking for short introduction to sea kayaking, we recomend the 1 1/2 hour tour of Barnegat Harbor and the adjacent EBF Wildlife Refuge.
