to the Edwin B. Forsythe National Wildlife
Refuge.

The Refuge consists of 40,000 acres of tidal salt meadow
marsh, interspersed
with shallow coves, and woodlands. The refuge location is in
the Atlantic flyway's most active migratory flight paths of ducks,
geese, wading birds and shorebirds, and is also home to a wide
variety of plant species, thus providing a vital habitat for a variety
of
upland species such as songbirds, woodcock, white-tail deer and
box turtles. |
